Overview

The Distillers Assistant (DA) assists in all production components of distilled spirits produced at Tarnished Truth Distilling Company. The DA performs daily tasks as requested by Management, including but not limited to: Product development, Product production, Recordkeeping, Equipment maintenance and cleaning, Inventory management, product packaging, and Event coordination and attendance.

The DA is expected to represent the distillery in the absence of management during distillery tours and special events both on and off premise and may require early mornings, weekends and late nights to meet production requirements.

Responsibilities

• Follow all SOPs; to include safety and sanitary regulation, all federal, state and local regulations to ensure optimal levels of quality service and hospitality are provided to the guest
• Assist in the maintenance/sanitation of the Distillery and equipment to protect the assets, comply with regulations and ensure quality service
• Follow and promote accident prevention program to minimize liabilities and related expenses.
• Production of all products from grain, mashing, fermentation, distillation, barreling, aging, bottling, and packaging
• Assist in managing raw ingredient inventories, ordering, and quality
• Assist in completing all distilled spirits record keeping both federal and state for taxation and warehousing
• Aid with all on and off premise special events as needed
• Operate a forklift to safely load, unload and move material in the work area per manufacturers instructions

Wage/Salary

$21.00 - $23.00 / hour
