Distribution Associate

AmeriLux Family of Companies (AFoC) is hiring! We are looking for a hardworking, driven, team member to join our Team. You can expect to be cross-trained throughout the production and manufacturing plant. Leadership and growth opportunities are widely available.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate all machines or tools in the area. Tools include but are not limited to drill presses, miter saws, and table saws.
• Read and execute sales order to prepare raw material by cutting to precise width and length.
• Adhere to company standards and timelines per work orders.
• Collaborate with team on performance metrics for safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
• Regularly lift and maneuver materials weighing up to 50 lbs. as part of daily operations, demonstrating strength and endurance in a fast-paced environment.

Shift:

• 12 hours
• 1st or 2nd shift available, flexible hours

Requirements

What We’re Looking For:

• Ability to read and understand a work order
• Understanding technical drawings and schematics is a plus
• Proficiency in standard hand tools is a plus
• Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• High attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
• Willingness to follow safety protocols and maintain a clean workspace
