Domestic Gas & Plumbing engineer

Avon Ruby is a family-run Building company specialising in refurbishments, renovations, and Reactive emergency works. We are looking for someone with the right skill set to join our small team in the Reactive emergency division.

Main Responsibilities

• Repair, Servicing, Testing, Installation and diagnostics of heating system and boiler faults. (All engineers must have an excellent understanding of heating installations and be confident in upgrading systems)
• Attending clients to rectify Emergency Boiler breakdowns
• Submitting detailed Job sheets via our App to report on faults from the Jobs you have been deployed to
• Researching and identifying parts required to rectify an emergency and documenting these findings on the Job sheet
  
• Correspondence: Liaising with the Office team to ensure effective communication

Qualifications and Experience

Essential

• Own Gas Safe Registration/ ACS Qualified
• Minimum of 6 Years experience
• Communicate in the English language
• Good written English
• Hold a full UK manual driving Licence and be confident driving and working in and around London
• Competent with all Boiler diagnostics, Servicing, Installation, Maintenance and repairs for all major Manufacturer brands (Eg: Vailant, Worcester, Ideal)
• Strong Customer service skills (Customer facing skills)
• Qualified installer of Vented and Unvented Cylinders
  
• Experience with Powerflushing Central heating systems
• Ability to work on Reactive Plumbing issues (Domestic)
  
• Ability to work under pressure
  
• Ability to manage own workload
• A punctual timekeeper
• Willingness to undertake work and serve our clients in a great manner

Desirable

• Plumbing qualifications
• Commercial Boiler/Plumbing experience

Salary: Up to £40,000 (Dependent on experience) with the opportunity to earn up to £70,000 working out of hours/Callouts
