Location: Victoria, British Columbia

Reporting to: Operations Manager/Dispatch

Wage Rate: $30.24 to $34.73 plus 11.5% vacation pay and $2.95/hour pension contribution

Hours of Work: Up to 40 hours per week. Weekend Availability Required Periodically

Work Setting: Institutional, Commercial, Civil, Industrial, Residential

Chew Excavating, a member of the Ralmax Group of Companies, has an exciting and immediate opening for a full-time or part-time Truck Driver in Victoria, BC to deliver to industrial, commercial, and residential construction job sites. Experience pulling a Tridem Pup, Quad trailer, Operating a Crane Truck or Low Bed desired. Qualifications

Education and Experience

• 3+ years of related driving experience preferred
• Valid Class 1 or Class 3 Driver's License
• Geographical knowledge of the Greater Victoria area is a benefit
• Experience pulling trailers preferred
• Experience operating lowbed is an asset
• Certification for operating mobile cranes 10 tons and under is an asset

• Effective attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
• Must have excellent customer service skills
• Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
• Responsible and reliable

Work Conditions:

• The driver must be able to safely maneuver the truck in congested areas with confidence.
• Must be open to work occasional weekend shifts.
