[DXC-AT&T] Network Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities:.

The primary deliverables for the job include the development of network designs and configurations (LAN, WAN, and Wireless LAN Engineering) related to the client sites and Data Centers. The network project documentation encompasses project requirements, designs, detailed device configurations, drawings, implementation plans, and testing plans. The role also includes supporting network implementations and interfacing with the business unit clients to develop project requirements.

Required Skills:

1) 10+ years of professional experience and a Bachelor of Arts/Science or equivalent degree in computer science or related area of study

2) At least 10 years of experience using, building and maintaining combination of following Network Products: Cisco, HPN/Aruba, Brocade

3) LAN/WAN Design and Implementation with a focus on enterprise clients

4) Strong customer interaction skills (verbal and written)

1. 10+ Years of experience in troubleshooting escalated network issues
2. Experience developing network standards and direction
3. Experience with network elements including routers and switches
4. Expertise in DHCP, DNS, and IP allocations

Desired Skills:

1) Cisco Nexus expertise (5xxx, 7xxx)
2) Strong customer interaction skills (verbal and written)
3) Experience in troubleshooting escalated network issues
4) Experience developing network standards and direction
5) Strong understanding of ITIL processes including Change Management

Education and Qualifications:

B.S. in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical degree (all desired, but not required)

• CCDA/CCDP
• Aruba (ACMA, ACMP, ACMX, ACDX, ACSA, ACSP)
