Dynamics 365 CE & Power Platform Technical Solution Architect

Codec is seeking an experienced Dynamics 365 CE & Power Platform Technical Solution Architect to lead the technical architecture and design of enterprise-scale Microsoft solutions.

Working across Dynamics 365 CE, Power Platform, Dataverse and Azure, you will own the technical direction of complex solutions, working closely with clients, Functional Solution Architects, Project Managers and technical teams. You will ensure solutions are secure, scalable, resilient and aligned with business objectives and architectural standards.

About The Job:
This is a senior technical architecture role with responsibility for shaping solutions from initial design through to delivery.

You will lead technical workshops, define solution architecture and integration approaches, and guide key technical decisions across Dynamics 365 CE, Power Platform, Dataverse and Azure. You will also contribute to programme governance, technical roadmaps and design authorities while providing mentoring and architectural guidance across delivery teams.

The role requires a strong understanding of both technical delivery and the wider business considerations surrounding enterprise Microsoft solutions

Own technical architecture across Dynamics 365 CE, Power Platform, Dataverse and Azure.

• Design end-to-end integrations and high-level solution architecture for enterprise CE workloads.

• Lead technical workshops with senior stakeholders to define business and system requirements.

• Define architecture covering integrations, workflows, security, data models and environments.

• Collaborate with Functional Solution Architects on end-to-end solution design.

• Lead technical decisions and trade-off discussions around requirements, scope, risk and solution design.

• Work with Project and Programme Managers on delivery planning, RAID, RACI, resourcing and timescales.

• Establish DevOps, ALM and environment management strategies.

• Ensure solutions meet non-functional requirements including security, scalability, performance, availability and resilience.

• Lead architecture reviews and provide technical governance and solution assurance.

• Represent CE technical architecture within programme-level design authorities.

• Mentor Principal Consultants and technical teams and support the development of future architects.

• Maintain technical roadmaps and support platform strategy and business case development.

• Provide recommendations across licensing, performance, disaster recovery, scalability and cost optimisation.

• Promote reusable architecture, integration patterns and Microsoft best practices across teams and vendors.

About You

You are an experienced Microsoft technical professional ready to take ownership of architecture across complex enterprise solutions.

You combine strong Dynamics 365 CE and Power Platform expertise with a good understanding of Azure, integration and enterprise architecture principles. You are comfortable leading technical discussions with senior stakeholders, making architectural decisions and providing clear direction to both technical and delivery teams.

What you bring:

• Minimum 5 years' experience as a Senior Technical Consultant or 2 years' experience as a Principal Technical Consultant.

• Strong experience with Dynamics 365 CE, Power Platform and Dataverse.

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure and enterprise integration architecture.

• Experience designing APIs, integrations, security models and enterprise data solutions.

• Strong understanding of DevOps, ALM and environment management.

• Experience with technical governance, design authorities and architecture reviews.

• Strong understanding of security, scalability, availability, resilience and performance.

• Experience working across complex programmes involving multiple teams and vendors.

• Strong stakeholder management and technical workshop facilitation skills.

• Experience mentoring senior consultants and developing technical capability.

• Relevant Microsoft certifications.
