Technical Solution Architect

Codec is seeking an experienced Senior Technical Solution Architect to provide strategic and technical leadership across enterprise-scale Microsoft solutions.

Working across Dynamics 365 CE, Power Platform, Dataverse, Azure and the wider Microsoft ecosystem, you will help shape architecture strategy, provide technical governance and ensure solutions align with business objectives, enterprise standards and long-term technology direction.

About The Job:
This is a senior architecture role for an experienced Technical Solution Architect ready to take on broader responsibility across complex programmers and multiple workstreams.

You will lead technical design authorities, provide escalation support for key architectural decisions and work closely with Functional Solution Architects, Enterprise Architects and senior stakeholders. You will also contribute to technology roadmaps, platform modernisation, cloud strategy and the development of reusable architecture standards and solutions

Responsibilities:

• Chair technical design authority boards and provide escalation support for complex architectural decisions.

• Define and contribute to architecture strategy across Dynamics 365 CE and surrounding Microsoft platforms.

• Collaborate with Functional, Solution and Enterprise Architects on strategic solution design.

• Establish and promote architecture standards, roadmaps and governance structures.

• Ensure solution architecture considers security, risk, budget, scalability and operational requirements.

• Guide platform innovation, modernisation and cloud transformation initiatives.

• Lead architecture reviews, technology governance and portfolio-level discussions.

• Support cloud cost optimisation, scalability and long-term platform planning.

• Drive the creation and reuse of architecture patterns, IP and platform components.

• Mentor architects and technical teams across multiple workstreams.

• Support executive-level presentations, architecture walkthroughs and strategic technology discussions.

• Work with senior business and technology stakeholders to align solutions with enterprise goals and digital strategy.

• Promote Microsoft best practices and appropriate adoption of emerging features and capabilities.

• Foster cross-platform architecture alignment across Dynamics 365, Azure, Microsoft 365 and other enterprise technologies.

About You

You are an experienced Technical Solution Architect who combines strong Microsoft technical expertise with strategic and enterprise-level thinking.

You are comfortable leading architecture boards, influencing senior stakeholders and making complex architectural decisions. You can balance innovation with security, cost, risk and operational considerations while providing clear direction across multiple teams and workstreams.

What you bring:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Technical Solution Architect.

• Strong experience across Dynamics 365 CE, Power Platform, Dataverse and Microsoft Azure.

• Experience leading technical design authorities, architecture reviews and governance activities.

• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture, integration, security and cloud technologies.

• Experience developing technical roadmaps, architecture standards and reusable design patterns.

• Ability to balance technical innovation with commercial, security, risk and operational requirements.

• Experience working with senior business and technology stakeholders, including executive-level audiences.

• Strong mentoring and technical leadership experience.

• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and presentation skills.

• Relevant Microsoft certifications.
