ELECTRICIAN – 2nd Shift

• Proper diagnostic and problem solving in an immediate response situation to equipment failure, modifying electrical portion of production equipment and fabrication
• Responsible for all electrical maintenance of hydraulic and pneumatic systems on production equipment and building related essential maintenance
• To check overall condition and operation of equipment on an ongoing and regular basis.
• Ensure full implementation of all relevant procedures and instructions and ensure documentation and records are maintained adherent to TS16949 Quality Systems.
• PLC training a plus

Qualifications

• 4 years apprenticeship or graduated from vocational/technical in electrical/electronic discipline and certification of qualification/or equivalent offsetting experience
• 5+ years’ experience in manufacturing environment
• Licensed electrician
• Moderate understanding of electrical schematics and PLC’s
• Ability to make correct and expedient repairs under pressure
• Strong organizational/verbal communication skills in a team environment
• Ability to prioritize handling of situations
