About the role

We’re looking for an Engineering Manager to help us scale the future of post-purchase. You’ll work directly with our Head of Engineering and experienced product leaders to build secure, scalable systems that power instant refunds.

The Opportunity

  • Build and lead a high-performing engineering team that ships critical features across Reshop's merchant and consumer platforms

  • Own the full talent lifecycle—recruiting, developing, and retaining exceptional engineers in a competitive market

  • Partner closely with product, design, and engineering leadership to shape roadmap and technical strategy

  • Foster a culture of ownership, quality, and smart risk-taking where engineers grow their scope and impact

  • Remove barriers and create clarity so your team can move fast while maintaining the reliability fintech demands

  • Coach and mentor engineers to understand the big picture and how their work drives business outcomes

Who You Are:

  • Proven track record building, developing, and retaining high-performing engineering teams

  • Strong technical foundation—able to be a positive influence on architecture decisions and raise the quality bar

  • Skilled at balancing autonomy with accountability; you trust your team while staying connected to the details

  • Decisive and comfortable making judgment calls quickly, even with incomplete information

  • An effective communicator who listens well, delegates clearly, and earns trust through consistency

  • Passionate about developing people—you make coaching and regular feedback a priority, not an afterthought

  • Willing to recognize and act on poor performance and hiring mistakes quickly

  • Comfortable navigating a fast-paced, distributed startup environment where priorities shift
