Job Summary

GetWell HealthSystems is seeking a compassionate, knowledgeable, and patient-focused Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join our healthcare team in Jeffersonville, Indiana. The FNP will provide high-quality primary and preventive care to patients across a variety of age groups while working collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.

This is a part-time, on-site position with a Monday–Friday schedule, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary and preventive healthcare services to patients.
• Conduct patient assessments, physical examinations, and health histories.
• Diagnose and treat common acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with Indiana regulations and clinical guidelines.
• Order and interpret laboratory tests, diagnostic studies, and other appropriate evaluations.
• Provide patient education regarding medications, treatment plans, preventive care, nutrition, and healthy lifestyle choices.
• Monitor patients' progress and modify treatment plans when necessary.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential medical records.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, behavioral health professionals, and other members of the healthcare team.
• Provide referrals to specialists and other healthcare services when appropriate.
• Promote preventive care, wellness, and disease-management strategies.
• Follow all applicable healthcare regulations, professional standards, and organizational policies.
• Maintain a professional, respectful, and compassionate approach with patients and their families.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited nursing program.
• Current and unrestricted Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) license in the State of Indiana.
• Current APRN certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
• Current BLS certification.
• DEA registration or ability to obtain one, if required for the position.
• Previous primary care or family practice experience preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently while also functioning effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
