Part-Time Family Practice Nurse Practitioner (NP) / Physician Assistant (PA)

GetWell Health System is seeking an experienced Part-Time Family Practice Nurse Practitioner (NP) / Physician Assistant (PA) rienced and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our growing multi-specialty practice on a part-time basis. This position will provide Family Practice/Primary Care services to patients at our Indiana and Kentucky locations.

We are looking for a provider who is dependable, patient-focused, comfortable working independently within their scope of practice, and able to work collaboratively with physicians, advanced practice providers, and clinical staff.

Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive primary and family medicine services to adult patients
Perform patient evaluations, histories, physical examinations, and follow-up visits
Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
Order and interpret appropriate laboratory testing and diagnostic studies
Develop and manage individualized treatment plans
Prescribe medications within applicable state and federal regulations
Provide preventive care, health education, and chronic disease management
Complete timely and accurate documentation in the electronic medical record
Coordinate care with specialists and other members of the healthcare team
Follow organizational policies and applicable federal and state healthcare requirements

Qualifications
Current Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license
Licensed in Indiana and Kentucky, or eligible and willing to obtain licensure in both states
Appropriate prescriptive authority and controlled-substance registration as required for the position
Graduate of an accredited NP or PA program
National board certification appropriate to the provider's discipline
Family Practice/Primary Care experience preferred
Strong clinical judgment, communication, and documentation skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-specialty practice
Current BLS certification
