Field Service Employee (m/f/d)

Your mission

• You will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, maintenance and repair of high-tech machines and systems at the client.
• This involves maintaining the technical set-up of the machines as well as keeping the physical-chemical processes within spec.
• Service responsibilities include reaction to error messages, root cause analysis of technical problems, and problem solving.
• As part of your job, you will coordinate all necessary installation and repair work with the customer on site.
• For problem solving you will collaborate with our headquarter-based internal expert- and development-teams.
• Additional activities include giving training courses for customers, documentation of service work, and writing regular reports.
• You will be located at our headquarters in Bochum but will be required to travel abroad (estimated up to 50 % of working hours).
• Options for longer assignments are upcoming and can be discussed with interested candidates.

• Completed technical training (technician, bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechatronics, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or similar disciplines).
• First experience in technical service or a similar function, preferable in the international context.
• Affinity for high-tech machine-technology and complex technical systems, experience in semiconductor branch of industry of advantage.
• Independent, goal-oriented and reliable way of working.
• Very good written and spoken English skills, basic knowledge of German and other languages of advantage.
• Desirable: intercultural experience.
