This role offers the perfect blend of hands-on field work and technical problem-solving, making it ideal for an experienced electromechanical engineer or field service professional who enjoys working independently, building strong customer relationships, and travelling regularly.

Whilst you will primarily support customers within the region covered by this position, you may occasionally be required to provide support across other parts of France to meet business and customer requirements.

Your time will be split between customer sites and working from home when customer visits are not scheduled. The position involves approximately 80% travel.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Efficiently deliver field service work to meet cost and time objectives.
• Ensure optimal performance of TOMRA Food sorting machines to exceed customer expectations.
• Diagnose and resolve equipment issues, conducting necessary repairs.
• Collaborate with internal departments to enhance customer support processes.
• Conduct installations and adjustments to TOMRA Food equipment as required.
• Provide comprehensive training to customers on the operations and maintenance of our systems.
• Maintain accurate and detailed field reports to guide administrative follow-up procedures.
• Domestic travel up to 80% of the time

Qualifications

• Technical training to BAC+2 level in Electronics, Electrotechnical, Automation, Industrial Maintenance, or related field.
• Fluent in French and able to understand spoken and written English (min. B2) is mandatory for this role. Other languages are a plus.
• Proven experience in on-site preventive and corrective maintenance, supporting industrial customers.
• Willingness to travel up to 80% of the time, primarily within France, with occasional international travel or flexible working hours.
• Good understanding of IT, networking, and PC configuration.
• A valid driver's license.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with customers, colleagues, and management.
