A well-established investment banking firm is looking for a Financial Analyst to join their team. The selected candidate will be carrying out financial planning, analysing financial data, and preparing comprehensive reports.
This is an office-based role with a salary up to €50K.
Please note that for this role, we can only consider candidates who are based in Malta.
Role & Responsibilities
Support the internal team in reviewing financial statements
Assist in budget management and the development of performance tracking tools
Support the development of financial models and provide insights to support decision-making
Build and maintain financial models to value companies and assess deals
Perform company and asset valuations to support M&A, fundraising, and strategic decisions
Prepare pitch books, presentations, and client materials for business development purposes
Analyse financial statements, identify risks, and support the due diligence process
Conduct market and competitor research to support investment decision-making
Education, Skills & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
4+ years of experience in reviewing and preparing Financial Statements with a Malta based company - non-negotiable
Fluency in English both written and spoken
Previous experience in an investment-focused environment is a plus
Proficiency in Financial Planning and Finance
Strong analytical skills and able to accurately interpret data
Good understanding of Financial Reporting principles
Keen eye for detail and excellent problem solving skills
Experienced with financial modelling and relevant software tools
