Responsibilities
- Take ownership of financial performance monitoring and profitability analysis for the assigned business area
- Analyze monthly financial results, variances, and key business drivers to support informed decision-making
- Monitor KPIs, operational trends, and financial performance indicators
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to improve efficiency and business performance
- Partner closely with operational stakeholders to support business planning and performance management
- Support management decisions through financial modeling, analysis, and scenario evaluation
- Participate in operational and financial review meetings with internal stakeholders
- Oversee financial closing activities and ensure accuracy of reporting deliverables
- Review financial data and reporting outputs to ensure consistency and compliance with internal standards
- Coordinate with finance, accounting, and shared services teams to support timely reporting processes
- Analyze operational and production costs and monitor cost structures across the business
- Identify opportunities for cost optimization and performance improvement initiatives
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives within finance and controlling functions
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to support overall business objectives
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or another relevant discipline
- Postgraduate studies or professional qualifications (e.g. MBA, ACCA, CIMA) will be considered an advantage
- Previous experience in financial controlling, accounting, or business finance roles within a corporate or industrial environment
- Exposure to multinational organizations or complex operational structures is considered beneficial
- Strong business and financial acumen with a results-oriented mindset
- Analytical thinking skills with the ability to interpret and evaluate financial and operational data
- Ability to support business decisions through clear financial insights and recommendations
- Effective communication and collaboration skills across different stakeholder groups
- Strong organizational skills with attention to accuracy and detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively within demanding timelines
- Proactive, hands-on approach with strong problem-solving capabilities
