What you'll do

Controlling & Management Reporting

  • Support on building the controlling function from the ground up: cost-centre and cost-carrier/project accounting, including the setup of respective structures in SAP CO

  • Operationalize financial controlling for programmes and manufacturing, work with functional teams on project budgeting and actuals oversight, create transparency on delivery status and upcoming expenditures

  • Establish project controlling for commercial programmes and government contracts — cost attribution, WIP tracking, and margin analysis at the programme level

  • Prepare invoices to public / government bodies compliant to LSP and market price approaches

  • Support budgeting and forecasting across the entity, consolidated, and cash-flow layers; partner with FP&A on the annual budget and rolling forecasts

ERP / SAP & Process

  • Support SAP implementation, migration, and CO & FI module extension projects in coordination with other functions

  • Drive process automation and continuous improvement within the ERP environment

Support Accounting and Reporting

  • Work with finance / accounting team and external advisors on improving and running Hypersonica’s accounting processes

  • Support with hands-on operational tasks (prepare invoices for internal approval flows and bookkeeping)

Who you are

  • You are a controller with a strong technical understanding

  • 4+ years experience in a financial controller role in defence or aerospace sector

  • Profound knowledge of LSP / market price calculation in line German price law and respective methodologies

  • Hands-on SAP experience required (FI & CO module minimum)

  • Working knowledge on accounting principles

  • You are willing to challenge the status quo and bring forward own experience and best practices

  • German speaker, working proficiency in English
