- CPR certification is required. First Aid certification is preferred.
- Some experience leading group fitness classes.
- Some experience designing workouts and assembling appropriate music playlists.
- Ability to fully engage with students and members in vibrant activities that promote fitness and wellness.
- For participant safety, ability to identify the need for modifying movements and communicating and demonstrating these modifications to participants.
- Availability to commit to a regular schedule of classes each semester.
- Must have exemplary customer service skills and communication skills.
- Responsible for attending regularly scheduled staff meetings and in-service sessions.
Location of position: Aquatic & Fitness Center, Slaughter Recreation Center, Mem Gym, North Grounds Recreation Center
Compensation: $16-$28 Hourly
Anticipated Weekly Hours: 5-8

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings, and programs.
