About the Role

We are looking for a warm, enthusiastic and reliable Food & Beverage Assistant to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in high standards and wants to develop their skills in luxury hospitality.

You will help deliver friendly, attentive service across our restaurants, bars, lounges, room service and events, ensuring every guest feels welcomed, cared for and special.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Welcome guests warmly and provide professional food and beverage service at breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner, bar service, room service and events.
• Set up, clear down and maintain service areas to five-star standards of cleanliness, presentation and organisation.
• Deliver food and drinks with confidence, accuracy and attention to detail.
• Learn about our menus, wines, drinks, allergens, dietary requirements and daily specials so you can speak confidently with guests.
• Work closely with colleagues across Food & Beverage, Kitchen, Front of House, Housekeeping and Maintenance to support smooth service.
• Restock, polish, clean and complete service checks during quieter periods.
• Respond professionally to guest questions, requests and feedback, escalating when needed.
• Follow health, safety, hygiene, food safety, allergen and licensing procedures at all times.

Qualifications

• You are friendly, reliable and enjoy working with people.
• You have a positive attitude and a genuine willingness to learn.
• You take pride in high standards, attention to detail and personal presentation.
• You stay calm, organised and helpful during busy service periods.
• You are interested in food, drink, guest service and luxury hospitality.
• Previous hospitality, restaurant, bar or customer service experience is desirable, but not essential.
• You are able to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays as required.

Additional Information

Training and Development

No formal qualifications are essential, as full training will be provided. You will be supported to build your confidence in service standards, food safety, allergen awareness, licensing, product knowledge and guest care.
