Waiter/Waitress

Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome guests, present menus, explain menu items, and provide recommendations when required.

• Take and accurately process food and beverage orders, ensuring all guest preferences and special requests are communicated to the relevant team.

• Serve food and beverages efficiently and professionally, following established service standards and sequence of service.

• Maintain excellent knowledge of menus, ingredients, allergens, beverages, promotions, and outlet offerings.

• Monitor guest needs throughout the dining experience and proactively provide attentive and personalized service.

• Coordinate closely with the kitchen, bar, hostess, and other F&B team members to ensure smooth and timely service.

• Process guest bills and payments accurately and handle any billing enquiries professionally.

• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation of tables and service areas in accordance with luxury hotel standards.

Requirements

Candidate Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Waiter/Waitress or in a similar F&B service role, preferably within a 5-star hotel or luxury restaurant.

• Strong knowledge of food and beverage service standards and restaurant operations.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a guest-focused approach.

• Good knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and basic food safety and allergen awareness.

• Positive attitude, professional appearance, and genuine passion for hospitality.

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple guest requirements efficiently.

• Good command of English; additional languages are an advantage.

• Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays in a fast-paced luxury hospitality environment.
