AI Summary

Owns marketing for a conversational rehearsal app, creating short-form video and social content, growing audiences on TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn, and running creator partnerships and experiments.

About this role

Quippy (YC F26) is a daily practice room for the conversations people dread. You pick a real situation, like disagreeing with your manager or starting a conversation at a party, rehearse it with a realistic scene partner by voice or text, and get honest, line-by-line feedback on what landed. The app is live on the App Store.

You will be our first marketing hire. You will own how people find Quippy and why they tell their friends. The product gives you a lot to work with: almost everyone has a conversation they keep replaying in their head.

What you will work on

  • Make short-form video and social content people choose to watch and share

  • Grow the Quippy audience on TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn

  • Run creator partnerships, launches, and fast experiments across paid and organic channels

  • Turn real stories from users into campaigns

You might be a fit if

  • You have grown an audience of your own and can explain why people cared

  • You make and publish content quickly, without waiting for a brief

  • You read the numbers and double down on what works

  • You know what it feels like to replay a conversation in your head

Why join now

  • A founding role with shares in the company

  • You work directly with Jonathan, the founder

  • What you build reaches real users within days

  • A small team in San Francisco, backed by Y Combinator

Full-time. San Francisco preferred, remote work possible. Competitive salary and stock in the company.
