Front-End Supervisor - Downtown Food Store

New Horizon Co-op is hiring a Front-End Supervisor at our Downtown Food Store in Grande Prairie, Alberta.

What you’ll do:

• Provide an excellent customer experience
• Provide leadership and directions to the cashiers
• Resolve customers’ queries and concerns in a friendly and informed manner
• Assist with the daily store opening and closing procedures including cash balancing operations and sales reconciliation
• Assist with paperwork, scheduling, and other supervisory tasks to support the Front-End Team Leader
• Ensure that store merchandise is properly displayed, stocked and labeled
  
• Ensure compliance of check-out areas with health and safety regulations and maintain the store standards of cleanliness
• Other duties, as assigned

Who you are and what you have:

• Enthusiastic approach to work
• Excellent communication (verbal and written), organizational and customer service skills
• Must be responsible and possess great leadership skills
• Retail supervisory experience is an asset
• Practical working knowledge of daily retail operations
• Able to work independently and in a team
• Availability to work on a very flexible schedule (Morning and evening shifts on weekdays and weekends)
