Full-Stack Software Engineer

Role Overview:
Our Software Solutions team is building the dashboard that powers the future of construction. As the Software Engineer in this role, you will help site owners monitor multi-OEM fleets, track emissions, and take real-time action - all through clean design and modern data infrastructure.

What You’ll Do

• Full-Stack Feature Development: Building product features across backend, frontend, and real-time messaging systems

• Collaborative Problem Solving: Working with domain experts to shape telemetry insights into user-facing tools

• Platform Contribution: Contributing to the shared platform layer for all internal AI and data systems

• Backend API Development: Build and maintain scalable backend APIs using Node.js and NestJS

• Data Pipeline Design: Design data pipelines and real-time features using Kafka and MQTT

• Frontend Development: Develop frontend components using Vue.js

• Infrastructure & Deployment: Ensure quality with Docker, and Terraform deployments on AWS ECS

• End-to-end Ownership: Own features end-to-end with close collaboration across teams

Full-Stack Engineering Background: At least 4 years in full-stack development (Node.js, NestJS, Vue.js)

Streaming Protocols: Experience with MQTT, Kafka, or similar streaming protocols

Cloud & DevOps Skills: Strong cloud infrastructure knowledge (Docker, Terraform, AWS ECS)

Builder’s Mindset: A builder’s mindset with comfort working across the stack

Comfort with Ambiguity: Excited by ambiguous, cross-functional challenges

Self-Motivated and Collaborative: Able to dive deep, but surface quickly
