Gate / Check-In Agent (m/f/d) Terminal Domodossola

Your mission that drives sustainability in logistics

We are seeking a dedicated Terminal Support Specialist (m/f/d) to oversee and facilitate the efficient operation of our terminal facilities at our location in Domodossola. In this role, you will be responsible for various tasks essential to maintaining quality, efficiency, and compliance within our terminal operations.

What you’ll do:

• Check trucks and drivers at the terminal gate (entry & exit)
• Verify documents for containers, swap bodies, semi-trailers and intermodal transport
• Register arrivals/departures in the terminal IT system (TOS)
• Match bookings, container IDs and documents
• Give drivers clear instructions (lane / bay / where to go next)
• Make sure safety rules are followed (PPE, traffic rules inside the terminal)
• Report incidents, risky situations or missing/incorrect documents
• Work closely with terminal operations and security in case of emergencies

Your Background & Skills

• Driving licence B
• Basic confidence using digital tools (TOS on mobile / laptop)
• You stay calm, work accurately, and communicate clearly—also when it gets busy
• In addition, a keen eye for detail, strong organizational abilities, commitment to effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders, passion for optimizing logistics operations, and dedication to ensuring regulatory compliance are essential attributes for this role.
