General Accountant

Department: Finance / Revenue Operations
Reports To: Finance Manager

About the Role:

One of our clients is hiring a General Accountant to manage day-to-day financial operations, ensure accurate record-keeping, and support monthly/yearly closings. You'll work closely with internal teams and external auditors to maintain compliance and deliver timely financial reports.

Key Responsibilities

• Record daily transactions and maintain the general ledger
• Perform account reconciliations (banks, vendors, clients)
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes
• Prepare and deliver financial reports to management
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax laws, and internal policies
• Coordinate with external auditors and handle legal/regulatory requirements
• Manage intercompany transactions and reconciliations
• Support procurement processes and purchase order tracking

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2–3 years of accounting experience
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and tax regulations
• Experience with intercompany transactions and reconciliations
• Proficiency in accounting software and Excel
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficient in Arabic and English
• Experience coordinating with auditors and legal/compliance matters
