Hardware Design Engineer

As hardware design engineer you will be responsible for development of advanced electronic systems for our UAV platforms.

This is a full-time office job. Candidates must be located in Kyiv.

What is your Day to Day Mission:

• Design complex multilayer PCBs (typically 4-12+ layers) using Altium Designer

• Create and maintain schematics, component libraries, footprints, and BOMs

• Define PCB stack-ups and implement controlled impedance routing

• Design high-speed digital interfaces including DDR, Ethernet, USB, CAN, UART, and LVDS

• Apply best practices for Signal Integrity (SI), Power Integrity (PI), and EMC/EMI

• Develop layouts involving BGA, fine-pitch, and HDI technologies

• Optimize power distribution networks, grounding strategies, and return current paths

• Generate manufacturing documentation and outputs (Gerber, ODB++, NC Drill, Pick & Place, assembly drawings)

• Collaborate with hardware, embedded, RF, and manufacturing teams from concept to production

• Support prototyping, bring-up, testing, and production readiness activities

Will be an advantage:

• RF PCB design experience and 50 Ω transmission lines

• HDI PCB development experience

• Knowledge of IPC standards (IPC-2221, IPC-7351, IPC-6012, IPC-A-600, IPC-A-610)

• Experience in UAV, aerospace, robotics, defense, automotive, or other high-reliability industries

• Experience with board bring-up, validation, and transition to serial production

Requirements

What you bring to the team:

• Strong hands-on experience with Altium Designer

• Experience designing multilayer PCBs for embedded electronic systems

• Practical knowledge of high-speed PCB design and controlled impedance routing

• Experience with DDR, USB, Ethernet, CAN, UART, LVDS, or similar interfaces

• Understanding of SI/PI concepts, EMI/EMC mitigation, and PCB manufacturing requirements

• Experience preparing designs for fabrication and assembly

• Good English communication skills
