HARDWARE PROJECT MANAGER - CONSUMER ELECTRONICS / AUTOMOTIVE

We're searching for a prestigious client of ours based in Lund that is looking for an experienced Hardware Designer to join a highly experienced team working in the area of consumer electronics design for the automotive/consumer electronics industry.

Are you an experienced electrical engineer with a passion for leadership and project management? Do you thrive in distributed, international team environments? If so, we are looking for a motivated and skilled professional to lead and coordinate the development of consumer products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage engineering projects, collaborating with internal and external engineering teams.
• Coordinate efforts across distributed and international teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
• Oversee the development of consumer products, primarily focused on the automotive aftermarket.
• Serve as the main point of contact for engineering partners, ensuring effective communication and project alignment.
• Provide technical guidance based on a strong engineering background, though the role is not focused on hands-on product building.

Ideal Candidate:

• Strong background in electrical engineering.
• Proven experience in leadership roles and project management.
• Experience working with distributed or international teams.
• Interest in consumer product development, particularly in products installed in vehicles for the aftermarket.
• Ability to coordinate and lead projects without needing to build the product independently.
