Calling all experienced Chefs! Are you looking for a new opportunity to run your own kitchen in an exciting and fast-paced hotel..? We’re looking for an experienced Senior Chef to direct all kitchen activities across the F&B function & help our team create memorable experiences for guests - whenever and wherever they dine. You’ll be capable of ensuring consistency in service & food product quality, kitchen maintenance, food hygiene expectations and inventory functions; keeping to the highest of standards as expected by the brand & legislation to make sure the kitchen is always running smoothly, and at the most economical cost.

Key Responsibilities of a Head Chef include:

- Directing daily kitchen activities, planning and organising workloads ensuring you always have the right staffing numbers

- Having a flair and passion for food, leading by example to all junior chefs in all elements of food preparation and service

- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge & managing all government Health and Food Safety legislation including HACCP, ensuring all necessary checks are completed throughout the kitchen (both quality and safety checks)

- Developing your team and improving their performance through regular coaching and feedback, creating performance and development goals for colleagues & recognising good performance when its due

- Displaying & encouraging the right temperament for a successfully run service, promoting teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departments

- Ensuring our dishes are always at their best & to the standards as agreed with the team but in line with brand expectations, preparing “Dish Recipe Cards” and ensuring all Allergen information is updated and accurate for all food items

- Making sure food items are secure and stored safely - keeping stocks replenished to minimise waste and ensuring that all kitchen equipment and environment are hygienic and working properly
