Head of Finance (Imagine Live)

Description

We're looking for an experienced Head of Finance to lead our finance function and act as a strategic partner to the Group CEO. This is a hands-on leadership role covering financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow, and control — with direct oversight of both the Finance and Procurement teams. You'll be the person who turns numbers into decisions, and decisions into disciplined execution.

Experience in iGaming or online gambling is an advantage — this role sits close to licensing, payments, and regulatory reporting, and we need someone who already speaks that language.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Finance Department, owning the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
• Turn financial data into business-relevant insight — supporting pricing, cost control, profitability, and investment decisions
• Own the budgeting process and budget-vs-actual monitoring, with clear variance analysis and corrective action plans
• Maintain financial dashboards for the CEO covering revenue, EBITDA, cash flow, and key risks
• Ensure compliance with the financial requirements of our gaming licenses, including GGR/NGR reporting and player fund segregation
• Oversee the Procurement Department, ensuring purchasing stays aligned with budget and cost-control standards
• Manage the follow-up of internal and external audits through to closure
• Strengthen internal controls, approval processes, and governance across the finance function
  

Requirements

• 5–7+ years of progressive finance experience, including 2–3+ years in a leadership role (Head of Finance, Finance Director, Financial Controller, or similar)
• Prior experience in iGaming / online gambling, with familiarity with multi-jurisdiction financial operations
• BSc/BA in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (MSc/MBA or ACCA/CFA a plus)
• Proven experience managing a finance team
• Strong analytical and financial modelling skills, with a track record of driving accountability across departments
• Fluency in Armenian and English (Russian is an advantage)
