Head of Metrology and Product Compliance | TLT Electronics

Join our team and lead the Metrology and Product Compliance Department, responsible for product testing, measurements, certification, and compliance assurance throughout the entire product development lifecycle.

In this role, you will be responsible for the operations of mechanical and electronic testing laboratories, product compliance processes, and team growth. You will work closely with clients, as well as Design, Quality, Manufacturing, and other internal teams, ensuring that developed products meet all technical, legal, and market requirements.

In this role you will :

• Shape and implement the strategy, annual goals, and operational plans for the Metrology and Product Compliance department.
• Lead a team of mechanical testing, electronics testing, and product compliance specialists.
• Ensure efficient laboratory operations, resource planning, and laboratory equipment development.
• Organize and oversee product certification processes across various global markets.
• Ensure product compliance with applicable standards, directives, and regulations.
• Collaborate with external testing laboratories, notified bodies, and certification institutions.
• Advise Design and other cross-functional teams on technical and compliance requirements.
• Oversee the development and continuous improvement of testing methodologies, procedures, and laboratory processes.
• Analyze test results, identify risks, and initiate corrective actions.
• Manage the department's budget, investments in laboratory equipment, and operational efficiency.
• Ensure employee competency development, performance evaluation, and professional growth.
• Represent the company at conferences, exhibitions, technical committees, and other professional events.
• Continuously monitor changes in standards, regulations, and technologies, ensuring their integration into the organization.

Requirements

• Higher university degree in Engineering, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanics, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in product testing, laboratory management, quality assurance, or compliance.
• Proven team management and leadership experience, with a strong ability to plan tasks and make sound decisions.
• Strong knowledge of product testing, measurements, and verification processes.
• Deep understanding of product certification processes and international standards.
• Analytical mindset, systemic approach, and the ability to solve complex technical problems.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with internal and external stakeholders.
• Proficiency in English (both written and spoken).

Salary

Recognizing the candidate's efforts and experience, we offer a competitive salary that reflects your skills and expertise. The salary for this position ranges from €25/hour - €40/hour (€ 3 00– 6 700 per month) before taxes, depending on your experience and competence.

The employment contract states a fixed hourly salary before taxes.
