HHA Recruiter

Job Description:

Americare is seeking an experienced HHA Recruiter to join our West Chester Recruitment team. The Recruiter will be responsible for the full-cycle recruitment and onboarding of Home Health Aides (HHAs), with a focus on sourcing qualified candidates, conducting interviews, coordinating pre-employment requirements, and successfully moving candidates through the hiring process.

Interviews and in-person training are primarily conducted at our Brooklyn office. This position also requires travel to other office locations, community recruitment events, job fairs, and other off-site recruiting initiatives as needed. Reliable transportation and/or the ability to travel independently are required.

Requirements:

• 1+ years of Home Health Aide recruiting experience required
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
• Reliable vehicle / willingness to travel to various office locations and recruitment events required
• Experience sourcing, screening, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding HHAs
• Working knowledge of HHA employment and compliance documentation; I-9, W-4, CHRC, HCR, pre-employment medical requirements, and HHA hiring best practices
• Ability to manage a high-volume recruitment pipeline supporting a minimum goal of 40 hires per month
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Highly organized, proactive, and able to independently prioritize competing deadlines
• Strong follow-through and attention to detail
• Ability to work collaboratively toward individual and department recruitment goals
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Experience with Workday or a similar Applicant Tracking System (ATS) preferred
• Ability to work overtime as business needs require
• Ability to travel between office locations and attend off-site recruitment events on time and as scheduled
