Home Health Aide - CNA - Part-time

All Care Home Health is a Medicare-certified home health agency established in 1998. Our mission is to provide compassionate and effective health care in the most comfortable, secure environment for the patient: home.

Located in Danville, Virginia, we serve patients of all ages who reside in Danville and Pittsylvania County, and in parts of Halifax and Henry Counties. Our services include skilled nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech-language pathology, and home health aide.

The Home Health Aide...
Works 10-25 hours/week, primarily weekday mornings, 8am-12pm
Visits multiple patients, multiple times a week, for 30-45 minutes per visit, to assist with activities of daily living including bathing, skin care, hair care, nail care, dressing and grooming.
Documents all activities
Takes vital signs and documents results
Notifies the Supervising RN if intervention is needed
Follows all agency policies and procedures, including patient privacy and infection control
Represents the agency with professionalism
Specific activities and visit frequency is set by the patient's Home Health Aide Plan of Care. The Supervising RN conducts a joint visit with the Home Health Aide every 14 days.

Qualifications

REQUIRED: Virginia license to practice as a CNA

REQUIRED: Current CPR certification OR proof you are registered to take a course within the next 30 days

REQUIRED: NO Criminal Background

REQUIRED: Must hold a valid driver’s license, valid auto insurance, and an automobile for field use. Must have reliable transportation to travel between patient homes.

Must love helping people. Must treat patients and coworkers with professionalism, respect and kindness.

Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
