Job Summary

The Principal Business Planner serves as a strategic partner to the Director of Home Print Quality, helping translate organizational priorities into measurable outcomes. This role drives business planning, operating cadence, performance management, executive communications, and cross-functional alignment across product quality, customer experience, engineering, support, and operations teams. The position acts as a force multiplier for leadership by providing data-driven insights, identifying risks and opportunities, and ensuring disciplined execution of key initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Lead annual and quarterly business planning, goal setting, and performance tracking for Home Print Quality.
  • Own organizational operating rhythm including staff reviews, business reviews, leadership meetings, action tracking, and executive updates.
  • Develop executive-ready narratives, presentations, dashboards, and decision briefs for senior leadership.
  • Drive KPI governance and performance measurement across quality, customer satisfaction, product performance, support experience, and operational excellence metrics.
  • Partner across Quality, Engineering, Customer Support, Product Management, Finance, and Operations to align priorities and drive execution.
  • Convert complex data into actionable business insights, recommendations, and strategic choices.
  • Identify emerging risks, dependencies, and execution gaps and facilitate timely escalation and resolution.
  • Support organization design, workforce planning, budget planning, and strategic initiatives as required.
  • Lead special projects that improve customer experience, quality outcomes, operational effectiveness, and business performance.
  • Leads and provides guidance and mentoring to less-experienced staff members to set an example of program management innovation and excellence.

Education & Experience Recommended
  • 10+ years of experience in business planning, strategy, program management, operations, consulting, finance, or a related business function.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner effectively with senior leadership teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience building executive insights and business recommendations.
  • Experience establishing KPIs, dashboards, business reviews, and operating mechanisms.
  • Exceptional executive communication, storytelling, and presentation skills.
  • Track record of driving cross-functional alignment and delivering results in highly matrixed organizations.
  • Strong business and financial acumen with experience supporting strategic planning and investment decisions.
  • Proven ability to manage ambiguity, balance competing priorities, and independently drive execution.
  • Experience leveraging data and AI-enabled insights to improve business decision making.
  • Preferred: familiarity with product quality, customer experience, engineering, support operations, or technology businesses.

Preferred Certifications
Program Management and Quality Certification (Lean Sigma, ASQ etc.) preferred
