Human Resources Intern - Western Canada

Responsibilities

• Prepare HR documents includingreports, employment confirmations, leave forms,promotions,transfersand other documents

• Maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy

• Respond to employee inquiries on topics like leave policies, address updates, and general HR matters

• Maintainweekly HR reports tracking departures and key metrics

• Update HR systems, dashboards, and forms

• Coordinate exit interviews by sending questionnaires, updating records, and liaising with the HR team

• Support documentation and improvement of HR processes and practices

• Audit employee records and reporting structures to ensureaccurateorganizational charts

• Assistwith occupational health and safety communications and follow-ups

• Help manage work permit and visa applications

• Contribute ideas for process improvements and support HR initiatives

• Collaborateand contributeon various HR projects and administrative tasks

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’sdegree,amaster’sdegree,orapost graduatecertificateinhumanresources

• Proficient in Microsoft Suite, including Office, Excel, and PowerPoint

• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects with accuracy

• Proactive,flexibleand collaborative mindset

• Strong written and spoken communication skills

• Written andspoken French knowledge is an asset
