We'relooking for an experiencedHydraulic Hose Technicianto join our team inToowoomba,operatingour mobilehosevantoprovide expert hydraulic hose manufacturing, assembly,installationand customer support services that keep our customersoperatingsafely and efficiently. This is aPermanent, Monday to Fridayrole.

Whatyou'llbe doing

As aHydraulic Hose Technicianat Hastings Deering, you will:

• Support customer requirements– coordinate and liaise with customers to ensure all hydraulic hose and parts requirements are met efficiently and professionally.

• Build quality hose assemblies– manufacture and assemble fluid hoses to Caterpillar specifications and quality standards.

• Remove and install hose assemblies–qualified and experienced to safely remove and install hose assemblies from equipment to ahigh qualitystandard.

• Respond to urgent and planned work– process customer requests and purchase orders for both breakdown support and scheduled maintenance requirements.

• Afterhours response–Be available to attend to customer breakdownson anon callbasis.

• Maintain operational readiness– ensure the hose vanremainsin safe working condition and promptly report any defects.

• Follow contamination control standards–adhere to Caterpillar contamination control procedures and quality requirements at all times.

• Deliveraccurateadministration– complete timecards, parts requests, quotations,paperworkand invoicing accurately andin a timely manner.

• Build strong relationships– develop collaborative working relationships with customers and teammates to achieve positive outcomes.

Whatyou'llneed

A successful teammate will have experience in:

• Relevant technical experience– trade qualifications in a mechanical or technical field with hydraulic hose assembly experience highly desirable.

• Licence ready– current MR Driver's Licence is essential.

• Customer focused mindset–demonstratedcommitment to delivering exceptional customer service and building strong customer relationships.

• Hydraulic knowledge– ability to read and interpret hydraulic schematics is desirable.

• Industry experience– proven experience working in a similar hydraulic, mechanical, workshop, or field service environment.

• Systems and process awareness– experience using CATWebSIS2.0, Microsoft Dynamics AX, or similar business systems is desirable.

• Safety and reliability focused– physically fit, highly conscientious, and committed to safe work practices and quality outcomes.
