We are seeking an experiencedInvestigation & Security Officerto oversee daily security operations, conduct internal and external investigations, and manage risk across our facilities.
In this role, you will be key in maintaining full security compliance, managing vendor relationships, leading incident response, and ensuring the safety of our personnel, facilities, and physical assets.
What You’ll Do
1. Investigations & Incident Management
Lead Investigations:Conduct thorough internal and external investigations into security incidents, fraud, misconduct, and policy breaches.
Maintain Standards:Preserve crime scenes, secure evidence, conduct interviews, and maintain proper chain of custody.
Partner Collaboratively:Work closely with legal teams, internal intelligence functions, and external law enforcement when required.
2. Operational Security Management
Daily Operations:Oversee access control, surveillance systems, guard deployment, and security in key spaces like loading bays and warehouses.
Vendor Oversight:Monitor contracted security providers to ensure strict compliance with agreed KPIs and contractual terms.
Risk Mitigation:Perform regular threat analyses, vulnerability audits, and property-level risk assessments to proactively protect assets and staff.
3. Emergency Preparedness & Risk Management
Plan & Test:Maintain, test, and update emergency response and crisis management protocols.
Drills & Readiness:Coordinate regular emergency evacuation drills with staff and security contractors.
Health & Safety Support:Provide direct operational support to Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) teams as needed.
4. Compliance, Audit & Reporting
Standard Operating Procedures:Develop and enforce security policies and SOPs aligned with industry regulations and local laws.
Quality Audits:Perform routine internal security inspections and generate performance reports based on vendor KPIs.
Executive Updates:Deliver timely incident logs, risk assessments, and actionable recommendations to security leadership.
5. Leadership & Community Culture
Training:Deliver safety and security training programs to internal teams and contracted personnel.
Culture:Foster an accountable, safety-first environment across all departments.
Candidate Profile
Required Qualifications & Experience
Education:Diploma in Security Management, Law Enforcement, Risk Management, or a related field (additional certifications in crisis/emergency management are a plus).
Experience:5 to 8 years in a supervisory security role, ideally within multi-site operations.
Technical Expertise:Proven experience with surveillance technology, access control systems, risk assessment tools, and incident reporting software.
Investigative Skills:Strong background in investigative techniques, intelligence gathering, evidence preservation, and chain-of-custody protocols.
Legal Knowledge:Practical knowledge of local security laws, compliance requirements, and occupational safety standards.

Critical Problem-Solving:Able to quickly evaluate security threats and deploy effective solutions.
Decisiveness Under Pressure:Sound judgment and leadership during emergency or high-stress situations.
Clear Communication:Excellent verbal and written skills for cross-departmental coordination and reporting.

Decision-Making Authority
Authorized to Make:Direct incident investigations, secure evidence, implement property-level preventive measures, and enforce approved security SOPs.
Authorized to Recommend:Operational security improvements, updates to Crisis & Emergency Management Plans, and strategic adjustments to security resource allocation.
Escalation Requirements:Escalate legal/regulatory breaches, high-impact risks, or critical personnel matters to senior management.
