Intermediate / Senior Accountant

At Bizworx Consultancy Limited, we are looking for an experienced Intermediate/Senior Accountant to join our team. You will work closely with SME clients, providing trusted business advice, financial insights, and practical solutions that help businesses thrive as well as undertaking high quality compliance work.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Managing a portfolio of SME clients
• Preparing financial statements, tax returns and management reports
• Advising clients on business performance, strategy, and growth
• Delivering management reporting and business advisory services
• Managing GST, PAYE, and FBT compliance obligations
• Peer reviewing the work of team members
• Supporting and training team members
• Leading process improvements and internal initiatives
• Providing Xero advisory, and cloud accounting support

Qualifications

What You’ll Bring

• 5+ years’ experience within a Chartered Accounting practice, ideally CA qualified
• Strong understanding of New Zealand taxation and compliance requirements
• Proficiency  with  Xero and cloud accounting software
• Experience in XPM and CCH based work papers would be advantageous
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
• Excellent communication and relationship management skills
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
