Intern / Working Student Finance & Accounting (m/f/d)

What we look for:

• You support the Finance & Accounting team in the preparation and processing of ongoing financial transactions (accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger).
• You assist with the monthly closing process, account reconciliations, and journal entries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal standards.
• You contribute to the preparation of financial statements, reports, and analyses for management and external stakeholders.
• You help optimize finance processes and internal documentation, identifying potential improvements in automation and data consistency.
• You collaborate with internal departments and external partners (e.g. auditors, tax advisors, banks) to ensure smooth financial operations.
• You take ownership of recurring accounting tasks and support ad-hoc analyses or special projects as needed, depending on your experience and availability.

What we require:

• You are currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field with a focus on finance.
• You have ideally gained first practical experience in accounting, controlling, or finance (e.g. through previous internships or student jobs).
• You have strong Excel skills and ideally are familiar with ERP/accounting systems (e.g. Datev).
• You work precisely, reliably, and structured, with a high attention to detail and a sense of responsibility.
• You are a proactive, communicative team player who enjoys working independently and solution-oriented.
• You are fluent in German, English is a plus.
