About this role
Eram Talent is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented IT Asset Management Analyst to join our operations in Saudi Arabia. The IT Asset Management Analyst is responsible for maintaining the asset life cycle information including but not limited to the custodian, warranty and status for technology-based hardware and software assets. The IT Asset Management Analyst is also responsible for receiving, tagging, disposing the assets, updating the Assets database system, as well as developing and implementing procedures for tracking IT assets to oversee quality control throughout their lifecycles.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the entire lifecycle of IT assets, including acquisition, inventory management, utilization tracking, and disposal.
- Manage the complete IT asset lifecycle including receiving, tagging, tracking, loaning, repairing, and disposal of assets.
- Maintain accurate asset records (custodian, warranty, status, refresh, and end-of-life) in the asset management system.
- Conduct physical and system inventory audits, analyze variances, and ensure data accuracy.
- Control asset acquisition, storage, movement, and disposal in coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
- Prepare asset reports and dashboards and support process improvements and governance.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in IT asset management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Information Technology or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in IT asset management systems and lifecycle management.
- 4+ years of experience in data analytics and reporting
- Strong knowledge of SAP, IT asset management processes, and supporting technologies.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and data analysis/reporting.
- Good English communication skills with the ability to work independently and collaborate across teams.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Relevant certifications such as Certified IT Asset Manager (CITAM) or ITIL certification are a plus.
