Java Developer - BI

 

Main challenge:

We are looking for a Java Developer to join our Business Intelligence department, Sales team, in our Bucharest studio.

You will be involved in developing new applications while ensuring the maintenance, support and continuous improvement of complex intranet applications used by the team. The role combines software development with a variety of activities focused on reporting, automation and data-related optimizations.

What it means on a daily basis:

Your main focus will be developing and improving applications and tools that support the team's daily operations. This will include:

• Developing new applications using advanced technologies, as well as maintaining, supporting and improving existing intranet applications.

• Creating and maintaining custom reports, managing data imports from internal and external tools, and automating different stages of operations.

• Contributing to database fine-tuning and optimizations, while working with bug tracking applications to support application maintenance and improvement.

What success will look like:

• Being able to balance work on new development with the maintenance of existing applications, while approaching challenges in a structured and solution-oriented way.
• You will be expected to communicate effectively, integrate smoothly into the team, and combine the ability to work independently with a collaborative mindset, showing initiative and openness to new challenges.

## Qualifications

What you need to succeed

• Good Java skills
• Good MySQL skills
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
• AWS tech, Spring Boot and Looker represent big pluses
