Qualifications
Must have a medical degree, have completed an approved psychiatric residencyBoard Certification with The American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN)Full, unencumbered MD license in the state you practiceActive DEA in the state your prescribing In-depth knowledge of various psychotherapeutic methodsExcellent communication skills with the ability to explain medical terms and conditions to a non-medical audienceStrong observation skills to accurately evaluate patients’ demeanor and identify symptomsA great bedside manner and the ability to remain calm, empathetic and patient while interacting with patients who suffer from severe mental disordersThoughtful and compassionateMust be able to work in office as part of our hybrid modelElectronic Health Record (EHR) Proficiency: Must have demonstrated experience in utilizing electronic health record systems efficiently to manage patient data, document clinical information, and access patient histories. Familiarity with NextGen is highly desirable. Computer Skills: Strong computer literacy with proficiency in a range of software applications including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and presentations. Ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and troubleshoot common issues.
