Psychiatrist - North Dakota

We are seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Board-Certified or Board-Eligible (BC/BE) Psychiatrist to join our multidisciplinary behavioral health team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and crisis intervention for a diverse patient population. You will collaborate closely with social workers, therapists, and primary care providers to deliver integrated, patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

• **Clinical Assessment **: Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations, including diagnostic assessments and mental status examinations.
• **Treatment Planning **: Develop, implement, and monitor individualized pharmacological and therapeutic treatment plans for acute and chronic mental health conditions.
• **Collaborative Care **: Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and provide consultations to primary care and specialty medical staff.
• **Patient Advocacy **: Educate patients and their families on diagnoses, treatment options, and long-term wellness strategies.
• **Documentation **: Maintain timely and accurate electronic health records (EHR) in compliance with federal and state regulations.
• **Crisis Management **: Provide emergency psychiatric assessments and intervention as needed within the clinical or hospital setting.

Minimum Qualifications

• **Education **: Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited program.
• **Training **: Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency in Psychiatry.
• **Licensure **: Must possess or be eligible for an unrestricted State Medical License and DEA registration.
• **Certification **: Board Certified or Board Eligible (BC/BE) in Psychiatry by the ABPN or an equivalent board.

Preferred Skills
