As a Jr. Manager, Marketing Strategy, your role is crucial in driving the success of our clients' releases through innovative marketing plans and strategies, and data-driven campaigns. You will serve as a key point of contact, keeping labels and artists ahead of industry trends, platform tools, and audience engagement with plans and best practices. Owning and nurturing strong relationships with clients and internal teams is essential to creating impactful activations, building fanbases, and achieving overall release objectives.
What you'll do:
- Serve as the marketing point of contact for labels and artists leading discussions around marketing strategies, campaign planning, data collection, and ongoing performance evaluation.
- Conceptualize and execute creative marketing campaigns in order to remain at the forefront of marketing and audience development.
- Oversee and manage marketing campaigns for high-priority releases, focusing on specific artist and label initiatives within a given team. Drive informed decisions based on data and performance metrics.
- Analyze the impact of campaigns and the value of various fan and audience segments, identifying trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities to optimize both pre- and post-release strategies.
- Utilize in-depth knowledge of platforms and tools to build audiences, engage fanbases, and drive demand.
- Provide regular reports and key insights to team and regional leads regarding campaign success and areas for improvement.
- Seek out opportunities for the development of the artist and label roster through internal resources and external tools or services that could enhance campaign efforts.
- Work with multiple departments and teams to bring innovative marketing activations to life, both digitally and in the real world. Foster fan community relationships to amplify campaign reach and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with different The Orchard teams across the globe to identify and leverage cultural touchpoints for audience acquisition, engagement, and other label objectives.
- Be proactive in identifying challenges and providing solutions to keep release campaigns on track. Demonstrate flexibility and balance in supporting label needs. Be nimble as priorities arise outside of standard processes, with the ability to act with urgency and strategic vision.
Who you are:
- At least 3+ years of experience in strategy marketing
- Experience in music marketing is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Passionate about music, a regular attendee of live shows, interested in discovering new music, trend-savvy, and curious.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and timelines
- A strong passion for music, creativity and marketing trends
- Proven track record of success in developing marketing plans and strategies
- Proficiency in Spanish and English is required
- Extensive knowledge of the music industry, including trends, challenges, and opportunities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with artists, labels, and other key partners
- Creative thinker with the ability to develop and execute innovative marketing and promotional campaigns
