Jr Transportation Analyst

Responsibilities:

• Strategic Management: Plan and coordinate multi-modal transport operations (road, air, sea), optimizing the flow of vehicles and cargo.
• Cost and Timeline Optimization: Identify and develop business opportunities; negotiate freight rates and services with carriers and logistics providers to secure the best commercial and operational terms and ensure freight cost competitiveness.
• Data Analysis and KPIs: Monitor performance indicators (KPIs)—such as delays, costs, and service levels—and propose action plans for continuous improvement. Translate complex data into strategic insights and recommendations for management.
• Stakeholder Relations: Develop and maintain relationships with transport providers (including vendor qualification and periodic evaluation), customers, and internal departments (e.g., procurement, sales) to ensure supply chain integration.
• Projects and Improvements: Participate in and lead various operational projects, such as implementing new technologies (e.g., TMS - Transport Management Systems) and defining or modifying transport policies.
• Compliance and Regulations: Ensure all operations comply with applicable laws and regulations regarding cargo transport.
• Behavioral Competencies: Strong analytical skills, complex problem-solving abilities, proactivity, excellent communication, negotiation skills, and a strategic business mindset.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Administration, Engineering, or related fields. Advanced knowledge of Excel and data analysis tools.

Experience with Transportation Management Systems (TMS).

Familiarity with information technologies applied to transportation. Intermediate English proficiency desirable.
