This is an entry-level role for someone who has foundational knowledge of email or digital marketing and wants to develop deep expertise in lifecycle campaigns, automation, and data-driven optimization. You will work side by side with the Director of Marketing, building real skills in platforms like Twilio and SendGrid while contributing to campaigns that directly impact customer acquisition and retention.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Campaign Execution & Support
- Assist in building, scheduling, QAing, and launching email and SMS campaigns using Twilio and SendGrid under senior supervision.
- Help set up and QA automated lifecycle flows including onboarding sequences, re-engagement campaigns, retention triggers, and other lifecycle marketing initiatives.
- Support the management of audience lists, segmentation criteria, suppression files, and workflow documentation.
- Assist in preparing and formatting email templates in collaboration with the design team.
- Coordinate campaign timelines, internal deliverables, and marketing calendars to ensure campaigns launch on schedule.
- Maintain organized libraries of marketing assets, templates, and campaign documentation.
Testing & Performance Tracking
- Support A/B test setup and help document results for subject lines, CTAs, and content variants.
- Assist with campaign testing, tracking, and reporting across email and SMS channels.
- Compile and maintain performance reports tracking key metrics including open rates, click-through rates, conversions, engagement, and unsubscribes.
- Assist in identifying trends in campaign data and flagging opportunities for optimization and process improvements.
Compliance & Operations
- Help ensure all campaigns comply with applicable regulations including CASL, CAN-SPAM, and GDPR.
- Assist with list hygiene tasks including managing bounces, opt-outs, and suppression lists.
- Maintain documentation of campaign workflows, platform settings, operational processes, and process guides.
- Support ongoing improvements to marketing processes and operational workflows.
Collaboration
- Work closely with the Director of Marketing and senior team members to align on campaign priorities and goals.
- Coordinate with marketing, design, and content teams to ensure campaigns are executed accurately, assets are delivered on time, and messaging remains on brand.
- Participate in team meetings, contribute ideas, and ask questions.
Requirements
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Up to 1–2 years of experience in email marketing, digital marketing, or related roles (internships and relevant coursework count).
- Basic familiarity with email marketing concepts: deliverability, segmentation, open rates, click-through rates.
- Comfortable working with data and digital tools; not afraid of dashboards or spreadsheets.
- Strong attention to detail: you notice what others miss and take quality seriously.
- Great written communication skills in English.
- Eagerness to learn marketing platforms and grow into a technical marketing role.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken). Spanish is a strong asset.
PREFERRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Any hands-on experience with an email platform (Mailchimp, HubSpot, Klaviyo, SendGrid, or similar).
- Exposure to SMS marketing or basic understanding of how SMS campaigns work.
- Familiarity with A/B testing concepts.
- Basic HTML knowledge or willingness to learn email templating.
- Studies or coursework in marketing, communications, business, or related fields.
- Any experience in digital, tech, or startup environments.
Benefits
Compensation: $800-1200 USD p/m
