This position is responsible for general land and grounds maintenance, primarily mowing and cutting grass around designated properties and work areas.
Responsibilities
- Mow and cut grass using mowing equipment
- Perform weed eating and basic vegetation control
- Maintain property and work areas to keep them clean and well maintained
- Operate lawn/grounds maintenance equipment safely
- Perform basic equipment inspections before use
- Follow all company safety procedures
- Work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Perform other general land maintenance duties as needed
Qualifications
- Previous mowing, landscaping, grounds maintenance, or general labor experience preferred
- Experience operating lawn mowers, weed eaters, trimmers, and other grounds maintenance equipment preferred
- Ability to safely operate and maintain mowing equipment
- Ability to work outdoors in heat and varying weather conditions
- Ability to perform physical labor, including standing, walking, bending, lifting, and working for extended periods
- Strong safety awareness and ability to follow company procedures
- Dependable and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Must meet conditional job offer requirements.
