Lawyer - Media, Production & Commercial

3–5 Years PQE

We are looking for a Lawyer to support our international business across media, production, advertising and PR. This is a hands-on commercial role working across multiple jurisdictions and Group entities, with responsibility for independently drafting, reviewing and negotiating a broad range of commercial, production and IP-related agreements.

The role would suit a commercially minded lawyer who is comfortable working directly with business teams, managing negotiations and providing practical legal advice within a fast-paced international environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate production services and production execution agreements.
• Draft and negotiate talent, influencer and contributor agreements.
• Advise on IP ownership, assignments, licences, usage rights and related commercial terms.
• Review and negotiate promotional, sponsorship, advertising and campaign agreements.
• Draft and negotiate Master Services Agreements (MSAs), Statements of Work (SOWs) and associated commercial documentation.
• Advise internal teams on contractual risk and provide practical, commercially focused solutions.
• Support production and account teams on contractual requirements, rights, clearances and approvals.
• Work with stakeholders and counterparties across different jurisdictions to progress negotiations and agreements through to execution.
• Maintain appropriate contractual standards across the Group and support the continued development of templates and legal processes.
• Coordinate with external counsel where specialist or jurisdiction-specific advice is require

You will be commercially minded, confident working independently and able to balance legal risk with the practical needs of the business. You should be comfortable managing multiple agreements and negotiations simultaneously and communicating clearly with both legal and non-legal stakeholders.

Requirements

LLB from a UK law school, or an LLB from a Greek or Cypriot law school together with an LLM taught and examined in English, preferably from a UK institution.

Qualified and admitted to practise in Greece, Cyprus, England & Wales or another comparable jurisdiction.

3–5 years' post-qualification experience, gained either in-house within a production, advertising or PR business, or within a media, entertainment or IP practice.

Demonstrable experience independently drafting and negotiating contracts, particularly production agreements, talent and influencer agreements, IP assignments and licences, promotional and sponsorship agreements, campaign contracts and MSAs/SOWs.

Fluent English with a high standard of legal and commercial drafting.

Comfortable working across jurisdictions and supporting an international business.

Desirable

• LLM specialising in IP, Media & Entertainment Law or commercial contracts.
• Near-native written English.
• Greek language skills.
• Previous in-house experience within the media, advertising, production or creative industries.
