We are looking for a legal professional to lead legal operations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, with a focus on governance, labor law, compliance, and core commercial matters. Based in Riyadh, this role is essential in ensuring our business operates within the evolving legal and regulatory landscape of KSA. The ideal candidate combines a solid legal foundation with a proactive, business-minded approach, and is eager to contribute to the success of a dynamic tech company.

Responsibilities

  • Provide legal guidance on Saudi corporate governance, company law, and regulatory obligations.
  • Ensure compliance with Saudi labor laws, supporting the People Team on employment documentation and dispute resolution.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, service agreements, and platform terms.
  • Advise on operational legal risks across core commerce functions, supporting local and regional teams.
  • Lead internal reviews and implement compliance best practices tailored to Saudi law.
  • Collaborate with government entities (e.g., MHRSD, MOC, ZATCA) to support business continuity and regulatory alignment.
  • Coordinate with external counsel and Trendyol’s HQ legal teams to manage disputes, inquiries, or escalations.
  • Monitor legal developments in e-commerce, digital services, and platform regulation in the Kingdom.
  • Expected Qualifications

  • Qualified lawyer with at least 5 year's post qualification KSA legal experience.
  • Deep knowledge of Saudi labor law, corporate governance, and commercial compliance.
  • Experience advising or working within e-commerce or tech-driven businesses is a strong advantage.
  • Familiarity with local governmental processes and regulatory bodies.
  • Excellent drafting and negotiation skills in both English and Arabic.
