Light Duty / Oil Change Technician

Poquet Auto is seeking a dependableLight Duty / Oil Change Technician to join our team in Golden Valley, Minnesota. This position is ideal for someone looking to start or grow a career in the automotive industry. The technician will perform routine maintenance services while learning proper repair procedures in a professional, well-equipped shop environment. Key Responsibilities

• Perform oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks
• Inspect vehicles for basic safety and maintenance needs
• Replace filters, wiper blades, batteries, and light bulbs
• Check and maintain proper tire pressure
• Perform courtesy inspections and report findings to Service Advisors or Technicians
• Safely lift and support vehicles using proper equipment
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all safety procedures and shop policies

Qualifications & Skills

• Previous automotive experience preferred but not required
• Willingness to learn and grow within the automotive field
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
• Basic mechanical aptitude
• Valid driver’s license
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
