Your New Role

• Pull, route, terminate, and organize low-voltage wiring

• Install and trim out wired devices and system components

• Install motion detectors, CCTV and surveillance cameras, security equipment, access control components, and fire alarm devices

• Assist with wiring and installation of access control systems

• Read and follow blueprints, installation drawings, manufacturer instructions, and equipment manuals

• Apply basic electrical and low-voltage installation practices in the field

• Troubleshoot basic wiring, device, and installation issues

• Use ladders and work at heights when required

• Maintain clean, organized work areas, tools, and equipment

• Work alongside technicians and other team members to complete projects safely and correctly

• Take on additional low-voltage installation responsibilities as your skills and experience grow

Requirements

• 1-3 years of installation, electrical, low-voltage, or related hands-on experience preferred

• Experience pulling, routing, and terminating low-voltage wire

• Experience installing wired devices

• Ability to read or understand blueprints and installation drawings

• Ability to read and follow installation manuals and manufacturer instructions

• Basic understanding of electrical or low-voltage systems

• Comfortable using ladders and working at heights

• Valid driver’s license

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

• Self-motivated, dependable, organized, and willing to learn

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team

• Professional appearance and commitment to maintaining a clean work environment
