About the Position

Our client is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the physical condition and day-to-day maintenance of a well-maintained multifamily community with approximately 150 apartment units.

This role will lead daily maintenance operations, skilled repairs, unit turns, preventive maintenance, vendor coordination, and capital improvement projects. The Maintenance Supervisor will also help ensure the property remains safe, compliant, and operating at a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform and oversee HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance, and building repairs
• Diagnose and resolve HVAC and other mechanical issues
• Manage apartment unit turns and preventive maintenance programs
• Supervise maintenance staff, vendors, and contractors
• Conduct regular property inspections and address maintenance and safety issues
• Manage maintenance inventory, supplies, and costs
• Support capital improvement and property maintenance projects
• Coordinate vendors and contractors to ensure quality and timely completion
• Maintain a safe, clean, and well-functioning community
• Ensure maintenance activities meet applicable safety and compliance standards

Requirements

• 5+ years of multifamily and/or facilities maintenance experience
• 2+ years of experience supervising a maintenance team
• EPA 608 Universal certification required
• HVAC certification with strong diagnostic and repair skills required
• Working knowledge of:
• Plumbing
• Electrical
• Appliances
• Carpentry
• Drywall
• Experience managing vendors and contractors
• Experience managing maintenance costs and budgets
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work hands-on while effectively leading a maintenance team
